Vice President, Business Development

Ms. Garringer has spent more than 20 years career focused on Business Development, Sales, Administration and Finance of retail companies, technology and manufacturing start ups in Canada and Brazil.

Prior to BioExx, Ms. Garringer spent 4 years as the President of TWI ASSOCIATES which was established in 1996 first as an import/export venture in the plastic-related industry in Brazil. Ms. Garringer and her associate have successfully negotiated a joint venture and a technology transfer agreement with COLORMATRIX CORPORATION. The company then expanded to become a successful manufacturer of colorants and additives in the plastics field in the state of Sao Paulo, Brazil. During this time and until the end of 2003, Ms. Garringer, as the Director of Finance & Administration of the new company COLORMATRIX South America was responsible for most development aspects including:

• Negotiating the joint venture with the American head quarters and the technology transfer agreements between USA and Brazil
  
  
• Negotiating and directing plant construction
  
  
• Hiring of all staff and employment agreements
  
  
• Maintaining responsibility for all commercial areas including customer contract negotiation and client issues
  
  
• Maintaining oversight responsibility for the financial area including Brazilian and US GAAP statements.

Prior to ColorMatrix, Ms. Garringer spent 10 years in senior management positions experience with CONSUMERS DISTRIBUTORS including in store operations, distribution, legal and finance, a $500M dollar company with 170 retail store chain in Canada.

Ms. Garringer was educated at the American University of Cairo, with a B.A. in Economics and post graduate studies in Business and Finance, Ms. Garringer is fluent in English, Arabic and has a working knowledge of Portuguese.
