Mr. Carl has over 20 years experience in project finance, plant construction and mill management focused on commercializing new technologies.

Prior to BioExx, Mr. Carl spent 11 years developing and operating The CanFibre Group Ltd., which utilized laboratory-scale technology developed by a Canadian Government sponsored organization, into a 180 employee company that successfully raised US$250 million to construct and operate two Medium Density Fibreboard facilities in North America.  The facilities utilized significant new patented technology that offered high quality products which far exceeded the environmental standards of conventional MDF manufacturing methods.  

Mr. Carl also spent several years with a Canadian subsidiary of Tenneco Inc. producing environmentally desirable bleaching chemicals for the Pulp & Paper industry.  At the time, Tenneco was the 11th largest company listed on the Fortune 500.  During his tenure, he was responsible for finance and administration matters in the Americas, Europe and Asia and was directly involved in the construction, start-up and operation of two $70 million manufacturing facilities that utilized new patented technologies.

Mr. Carl holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen’s University.
