Standard canola meal has an excellent amino acid profile, is rich in vitamins and essential minerals, and is palatable and non-toxic. It is widely used in diets of livestock, swine, and poultry, as well as specialty applications such as horses and sheep. Perhaps the most prominent and fast growing specialty use however is in aquaculture, especially in higher protein concentration blends.
